Data Ethics

Data ethics is the field of study concerned with establishing, systematizing and recommending the moral correctness of behaviour and actions related to the use of data.

More and more aspects of our lives are regulated by data-driven algorithms. This forces us to think about what rules we want to put around them and their creation. While there may be comprehensive rules and regulations in place in some countries that govern these new spaces, the law cannot govern everything. Much like in other parts of society, there is also a need for good behaviour that goes beyond mere adherence to the law
