#InsideAT - Our new Data Strategist Sebastian Grünwald

In our #InsideAT series we regularly present introduces new employees. Today it's Sebastian Grünwald's turn. He starts with us as a Data Strategist - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

What position will you take on at [at]?

I start in the role of Data Strategist.

How did you find out about [at]?

I googled "data strategy jobs Munich" in the classic way 🙂

Why did you choose [at]?

I had three interviews and was able to get a good overview of the corporate culture, professional focus and development opportunities. In all three aspects [at] was convincing.

What are you looking forward to the most?

First of all, I'm looking forward to many exciting projects and working with all my colleagues. But I'm also looking forward to the team, the events and one or two jokes from life.

What did you do before?

Before that, I worked as a consultant at the Zukunftszentrum-Süd, a funding project of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. Here I mainly supported smaller companies in the digitalisation of processes.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Munich. After a Bachelor's degree in Bamberg, I was drawn back to Munich.

What do you do in your spare time?

I like playing squash, football and beach volleyball. I like to go mountain biking and play music.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

I love Tuscany. However, I would love to go to South America.

What was your dream job as a child?

I always wrote "computer specialist & hobby cook" in the friend books of my classmates 🙂

What is your favourite film / series?

Currently, that is "Better Call Saul".

What was the last book you read?

Most recently "The Three Suns" by Liu Cixin. Highly recommended for all those who enjoy reading science fiction books.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

My favourite subject at school was history.
