In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Ann-Kathrin Schneider's turn. She is starting with us as Finance & Accounting Manager - in this interview she tells us what drove her to join, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

What position will you take on at [at]?

I start in Accounting/Controlling and thus have an intermediate or liaison position in the two areas.

How did you find out about [at]?

In fact, I became aware of [at] through a job advertisement on Stepstone.

Why did you choose [at]?

Right from the start, the company values convinced me and made me curious. When I saw on the phone with the accounting team and at a meeting in the Munich office that the culture is also lived and not just written down, my decision for [at] was made.

What are you looking forward to the most?

I look forward to a great collaboration between the two teams and being part of the company's continued growth.

What did you do before?

In addition to various internships, especially in auditing, I have just completed my Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Taxation.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Nuremberg and grew up near there in a small town, well actually in a larger village.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my free time I like to meet friends, watch Netflix series, (yes I am a series junkie, but only if they are really good ?) and learn foreign languages.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

As a travel destination, Sicily is definitely at the top of the list, it's almost my second home. But I would like to visit the Caribbean.

What is your favourite film / series?

There are really many good series, but a classic that you have to have seen is Breaking Bad.

What are your three most important work utensils?

My laptop, my notebook and a (good) coffee ? are must-haves when working.

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

I only get up at night to go to the toilet or drink some water ? otherwise my sleep is "sacred" to me.

What do you always carry in your pocket?

As a typical woman, I carry everything a woman needs in my handbag, which is why I can't cope with small handbags in the long run ?
