Innovator of the Year - Honouring innovative ideas
As biggest audience award the "Innovator of the Year" award has now become firmly established in the German economy. Around 80,000 Entrepreneurs were invited to vote for their favourite in the various six categories. The award is all about driving digital progress and honouring the companies that develop new business models with their innovative ideas and thus shape Germany as a leading economic nation.

At the award ceremony, 18 innovators took to the stage, and each category also received the coveted Audience Award. This year, for the first time, the following voted over 10,000 entrepreneurs - a new record! In the category Digitisation managed to Alexander Thamm GmbH stand out from the competition in the voting and win the majority of votes. Honorary Award for Judith Williams
The Honorary Prize awarded by the Editorial Board this year was given to entrepreneur and TV icon Judith Williams for her impressive track record as an entrepreneur and her contribution to promoting entrepreneurship. Williams is known, among other things, as an investor in shows such as "Höhle des Löwen" and "Let's Dance".
