In our #InsideAT series, we regularly introduce new employees. Today it's Verena Gruber's turn. She starts with us as Assistant to Head of Strategy & Factory & Junior Sales Manager - in this interview she tells us what drove her to join us, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

What position will you take on at AT?

Verena Gruber: In the future I will work as Assistant to Head of Strategy & Factory & Junior Sales Manager.

How did you become aware of AT?

Verena Gruber: I first became aware of Alexander Thamm GmbH through the job advertisement at the time.

Why did you choose AT?

Verena Gruber: AT offers me a completely new range of tasks with interesting and promising fields of work.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Verena Gruber: What I am looking forward to most are new challenges and working together with a young, motivated team. Team.

What did you do before?

Verena Gruber: Before that, I worked at the ADAC headquarters in Munich as a project manager for driver safety training for major customers.

Where were you born and raised?

Verena Gruber: I was born in Erding and grew up in a small village behind Erding. A real Bavarian village child.

What do you do in your spare time?

Verena Gruber: In my free time I like to do sports, tennis, freeletics or I try calisthenics.

What was your dream job as a child?

Verena Gruber: As a child, my absolute dream job was to be a policewoman.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Verena Gruber: My favourite school subjects were sport and history.

What would you get up at night for?

Verena Gruber: Anytime I would get up for NHL games, especially Pittsburgh Penguins. #87
