#InsideAT - Our new Junior HR Manager Michaela Schlögl

In our #InsideAT series we regularly introduce new employees. Today it's Michaela Schlögl's turn. She starts with us as a Junior HR Manager - in this interview she tells us what drove her to join us, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

What position will you take on at AT?

Michaela Schlögl: I am a Junior Human Resources Manager.

How did you become aware of AT?

Michaela Schlögl: I have a Job advertisement I saw a job on LinkedIn for a student trainee position in HR. I applied for my thesis at AT. This is also where I started at AT, as a bachelor's student and working student.

Why did you choose AT?

Michaela Schlögl: I decided to join because of the great Team and the exciting tasks that AT offers. I also liked the fact that you can always bring in your own ideas and have the freedom to help shape areas.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Michaela Schlögl: What I am most looking forward to is to see how the company develops. I hope that through recruiting and staff development, I can advance this development to a certain extent.

What did you do before?

Michaela Schlögl: I just finished my Bachelor's degree and then went on a 2.5-month trip to Asia.

Where were you born and raised?

Michaela Schlögl: I was born in Starnberg Hospital and grew up in Gilching.

What do you do in your spare time?

Michaela Schlögl: In my free time I like to be with my friends, my family and my boyfriend. Together we like to go on excursions and enjoy our garden. On my own, I like to try out new things and dishes. And I'm glad that commuting gives me time to read again.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

Michaela Schlögl: My favourite destination so far is Canada. I would definitely like to travel to Morocco and Scandinavia.

What was your dream job as a child?

Michaela Schlögl: When I was a child, I wanted to be a physiotherapist.

What was the last book you read?

Michaela Schlögl: Most recently I read "Die Bärenführerin" by Lea Weisz.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Michaela Schlögl: My favourite school subject always depended a lot on the teacher, but I always liked music very much.

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

Michaela Schlögl: I would get up in the middle of the night when my family or friends need me and when I get hungry.
