In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Avinash Mishra's turn. Avinash starts with us as a Junior Data Engineer - in this interview he tells us what drove him to join, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

About your way to us.

What position will you take on at AT?

Avinash Mishra: I work as a junior Data Engineer.

How did you become aware of AT?

Avinash Mishra: Through one of AT's Customers. During my diploma thesis at AUDI, I got to know AT through one of my colleagues.

Why did you choose AT?

Avinash Mishra: AT is working with some really interesting and innovative projects. Also the Work culture at AT is very relaxed and the company's focus is on the professional development of employees.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Avinash Mishra: I am looking forward to new and exciting projects in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science.

What did you do before?

Avinash Mishra: Last month I completed my Master's degree in computer science at the Technical University of Munich.

Where were you born and raised?

Avinash Mishra: I was born and raised in India.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

Avinash Mishra: Last year I went to Spain and I would love to go there again any time.

What was your dream job as a child?

Avinash Mishra: As a child, I wanted to be a fighter jet pilot.

What is your favourite film / series?

Avinash Mishra: Gangs of Wasseypur.

What was the last book you read?

Avinash Mishra: The last thing I read was Prisoners of Geography.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Avinash Mishra: History and Geography.
