In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Maria Schneider's turn. Maria is starting an account developer with us - in the interview she tells us what drove her to do it, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

About your way to us

What position will you take on at AT?

Maria Schneider: I have been part of the Sales Team since September and support them in the position of Account Developer.

How did you become aware of AT?

Maria Schneider: Through my new / "old" colleague Magnus Metz. I had already worked with him for several years at the chair in Cologne. Through his post on Xing, I became aware of Alexander Thamm GmbH and before I knew it, I was part of the team. Teams.

Why did you choose AT?

Maria Schneider: AT offers unique services in a very promising industry. I was generally interested in the topic of Big Data excited, as it forms the future for all companies and offers exciting new approaches to solutions.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Maria Schneider: My first Customers from the first contact request to the completion of the project.

What did you do before?

Maria Schneider: I was a campaign manager in the CRM & Digital Sales department at Allianz Deutschland AG.

Where were you born and raised?

Maria Schneider: In beautiful Augsburg.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

Maria Schneider: My absolute highlight was South Africa with a week's safari.

What is definitely still on my list is South America, Hawaii and Mauritius. The main thing is to be far away... 😊

What are your three most important work utensils?

Maria Schneider: Pen, Post-its & Laptop.

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

Maria Schneider: For my friends and family.

What do you always carry in your pocket?

Maria Schneider: My kitbag: the secret weapon for every situation 😃

(Kitbag= small bag containing everything you need when you are on the road, e.g. dental floss, eyeglass cleaning cloth, chapstick, hair clips, pen etc.).
