In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Katharina Pöppel's turn. She is starting with us as a back office manager - in the interview she tells us what drove her to do this, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

Which position are you taking on at AT?

I start as a back office manager.

How did you hear about AT come to your attention? 

A friend who has worked in the past with AT who worked with me, recommended the company to me.

Why did you Why did you choose AT?

Because I like to work in a dynamic team work.

What are you are you looking forward to the most?

To my tasks and many new colleagues.

What did you done before?

I worked in the communications industry (PR/marketing/trade fair organisation) for 15 years.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Regensburg and also grew up there.

What do you do in your free time?

My favourite thing is meeting up with friends and going swimming almost every day.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

My favourite destination so far was South Africa. The USA is also on my list, I would like to go there again.

What was your dream job as a child?

When I was a child, I wanted to be an interior designer.

What is your favourite film?

Four weddings and one death.

What are your three most important work utensils?

Mobile phone, laptop, notebook

What was the last book you read?

The Nightwalker by Sebastian Fitzek.

What could you definitely not do without in your travel suitcase?

Perfume

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Art

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

Chocolate
