In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Max Schröfelbauer's turn. He starts with us as a Junior Data Strategist - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

Which position are you taking on at AT?

I start as a junior Data Strategist at AT.

How did you hear about AT come to your attention? 

I was looking for jobs online and then came across a job advertisement on a job portal from AT attention.

Why did you Why did you choose AT?

I was looking for a varied job that has a future, where I can learn a lot of new things and at the same time contribute my previous experience and skills.

What are you are you looking forward to the most?

Here's to working with friendly and capable people on exciting projects.

What did you done before?

I was a working student. There I developed a training for employees.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Ingolstadt. There I also completed my Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with a focus on automotive engineering. I then moved to Rosenheim for my Master's degree and completed the "Applied Research and Development in Engineering Sciences" course there.

What do you do in your free time?

I like doing sports: fitness, boxing, running, hiking, snowboarding, bouldering and I also give fitness classes myself.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

After my bachelor's degree, I travelled through Peru and South America. I liked the city of Arequipa best, but you can also do wonderful hikes in Peru and Bolivia. I definitely want to visit Canada.

What could you definitely not do without in your travel suitcase?

Sportswear

What was the last book you read?

Hunter, Shepherd, Critic: A Utopia for the Digital Society.

What was your dream job as a child?

Doctor

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Mathematics!

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

For a hike to a spot where you can experience a super sunrise.
