In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Florian Wasserab's turn. Florian starts with us as a working student in the area of Data Science - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he prefers to spend his life besides work.

About your way to us

What position will you take on at AT?

Florian Wasserab: I will be working as a student trainee in the area of Data Science and in the Data Academy be active.

How did you become aware of AT?

Florian Wasserab: Through an acquaintance who has already placed AT several times.

Why did you choose AT?

Florian Wasserab: Because the working environment convinced me immediately and I like working with young people.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Florian Wasserab: I'm most looking forward to exciting projects and the upcoming Team-Events.

What did you do before?

Florian Wasserab: Before AT, I studied business mathematics and worked as a student trainee at Allianz.

About yourself

Where were you born and raised?

Florian Wasserab: I was born in Munich and grew up in Karlsfeld near Dachau.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

Florian Wasserab: My paradise on earth is Ibiza, I really liked Bali and I definitely want to go to Cuba and Jamaica.

What was your dream job as a child?

Florian Wasserab: I used to want to be an architect.

What was the last book you read?

Florian Wasserab: My last book was Inferno by Dan Brown.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Florian Wasserab: As a little nerd, my favourite thing besides sports was of course maths.

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

Florian Wasserab: For great food.
