#InsideAT - Our new Online Marketing Manager Stefan Brunnlechner

In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Stefan Brunnlechner's turn. He starts with us as Senior Online Marketing Manager - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life besides work.

What position will you take on at [at]?

I will support [at] in the area of marketing, more precisely in the area of online as a marketing manager.

How did you find out about [at]?

Quite unspectacular about the job advertisement for this open position. I didn't know [at] before.

Why did you choose [at]?

On a human level, everything felt absolutely right from the start. What I also found very good was the strong focus on human corporate values and principles.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Learning new things and realising exciting projects in a team.

What did you do before?

I previously worked as a marketing manager for a family-owned company in Landshut. They develop test systems for power electronics and semiconductors. Before that I was self-employed in the film and media sector.

Where were you born and raised?

I grew up near Wasserburg am Inn. I also went to school here. Anyone who has visited the town - Wasserburg is always worth a trip; for me it is one of the most beautiful towns in Bavaria.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am a trainer for Kung Fu and Qi Gong. If all goes well, I will finally make my Kung Fu master this summer. I also go bouldering 1-2 times a week. Otherwise, I am interested in nature & environmental topics, especially zoology. I am also a hunter and falconer.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

Colombia was particularly beautiful. The enormous diversity of the country inspired me here.
One of my big goals in life is to travel to Japan. This country and its culture have fascinated me since childhood.

What was your dream job as a child?

National Park Ranger in Africa

What is your favourite film / series?

All films by Wes Anderson. Series is more difficult. Probably Cowboy Bebop and Firefly.

What was the last book you read?

The Tea Book - Varieties, Growing Areas, Rituals and Recipes from Around the World

What do you always carry in your pocket?

Handkerchiefs, especially in winter ?
