In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Alexander Todorovic's turn. He starts with us as a Principal Data Architect - in this interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

I start as a Principal Data Architect.
How did you find out about [at]?
I discovered Alexander Thamm via XING.
Why did you choose [at]?
The technology independence as well as the musketeer principle aroused great interest in me.
What are you looking forward to the most?
The new projects and the team as well as the chance to work in a medium-sized company.
What did you do before?
I have worked as a software developer for international companies for the past 20 years and have spent the last 4 years in Japan.
Where were you born and raised?
In a small town in the Black Forest.
What do you do in your spare time?
Practise karate regularly as a health sport.
What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?
Japan and China.
What was your dream job as a child?
Cook. (Sometimes still my dream job ? )
What is your favourite film / series?
The English patient.
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
Reliable and interested in many things outside IT.
What are your three most important work utensils?
Notebook. Notepad. Pen.
What was the last book you read?
Consciously different: Experiences of an eco-pioneer.
What could you definitely not do without in your travel suitcase?

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
