In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Sarah Steck's turn. She starts with us as Principal Manager New Business Development - in this interview she tells us what drove her to this position, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.
What position will you take on at AT?
I am in New Business Development at Casebase.
How did you become aware of AT?
Through a headhunter.
Why did you choose AT?
I think EVERY single employee at AT sets the course for our European future - I really wanted to be a part of it! Besides, the values fit very well with my personal ones.
What are you looking forward to the most?
To being able to offer companies visionary design options and technologies, to interdisciplinary cooperation in the team and, of course, to celebrating the successes achieved. Oh yes - and to the Musketeer T-shirt!
What did you do before?
Most recently, I helped build a digital business model in the area of sales and marketing and was involved in some disruptive tech startups in Berlin.
What do you do in your spare time?
Lots of swimming, wellness and zazen in nature as well as inspiration through art. Currently: Kusama (infinity mirror), Marina Abramovic (TED talks) or "Das jüngste Gericht" by Buxdehude (Yt 2/6).
What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?
Always like the wild Balkans and Istanbul. To see: Moscow, Mexico, India, Angola and Bora Bora.
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
INTJ, Capricorn and Fat Queen.
What are your three most important work utensils?
A positive attitude, cool music in the bathroom in the morning, a thick skin and the mindset: "There's no such thing as can't"!

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
Baklava and / or foot massage?
What do you always carry in your pocket?
Chewing gum and earplugs.
