In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Johanna Klein's turn. She starts with us as a Senior Data Engineer - in this interview she tells us what drove her to this position, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

How did you find out about [at]?

Through a colleague who is a good friend of my sister.

Why did you choose [at]?

I initially liked [at]'s focus on data and AI. During the interviews, I also gained a very good impression of [at], precisely because of the openness, the values and the general attitude.

What are you looking forward to the most?

To get to know my team and also other colleagues and to support them in exciting projects.

What did you do before?

I studied mathematics and also started working as a student trainee in IT consulting in the field of data. After completing my Master's degree, I worked there for almost two and a half years as a consultant in data engineering.

Where were you born and raised?

Born in Bad Soden am Taunus, grew up in Oberhöchstadt (Kronberg) in the Taunus.

What do you do in your spare time?

Snowboarding, cooking, reading, drawing, watching series, cinema, playing the piano, playing xBox

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

My favourite place to travel is Scotland. I would like to travel to Scandinavia.

What was your dream job as a child?

Marine biologist

What is your favourite film / series?

Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings / Downton Abbey

What was the last book you read?
