#InsideAT - Our new Senior Executive Assistant Laura Sturz

from | 10 August 2021 | #InsideAT

In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Laura Sturz's turn. She starts with us as a Senior Executive Assistant - in the interview she tells us what drove her to it, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.

What position will you take on at AT?

I am taking over the position as Senior Executive Assistant from our Tribelead Daniel Lampertseder.

How did you become aware of AT?

A friend of mine already works at AT - she practically recruited me.

Why did you choose AT?

Mainly because of the super positive vibe of the company - every employee is convinced to be part of AT and that convinced me to want to become part of the team and to create a lot together.

What are you looking forward to the most?

I look forward to supporting the team and achieving success together!

What did you do before?

I originally come from the hotel and catering industry and then decided to switch to facility management about 4 years ago, where I was employed until I switched to AT.

Where were you born and raised?

I'm a real Bavarian girl - born on 9 July 1993 in Freising and I also grew up in the Freising district, in beautiful Hallbergmoos.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love being out and about - whether it's discovering something new, like cities, restaurants, bars or an after-work event with my colleagues. I have also discovered something new for me - the e-bike!

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

My absolute favourite city is Barcelona! Whether it's London, Paris, New York or Miami - nothing has pleased me as much as Barcelona. COVID has changed my desire to travel and long-distance destinations have become somewhat secondary. However, when travelling is possible again without restrictions, I would definitely like to go to Brazil!

What is your favourite film / series?

I'm a big Game of Thrones fan - I've watched the series 5 times now and still haven't had enough!

How would you describe yourself in one sentence?

Uncomplicated, open and in a good mood.

What are your three most important work utensils?

My laptop, my AirPods and coffee.

What was the last book you read?

Peter Prange - A Family in Germany

What could you definitely not do without in your travel suitcase?

Sunscreen!

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Business Administration and German

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

A good conversation with a nice glass of wine ?
