In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Andrii Mazur's turn. He starts with us as a position - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he prefers to spend his life outside of work.

Why did you choose [at]?
Both the requirements from the job advertisement and the growth of the company made me choose [at].
What are you looking forward to the most?
What I am looking forward to most are the new challenges in the future projects.
What did you do before?
I was the lead software developer at a BMW service provider. We programmed the pipelines for automated simulation evaluation.
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Ukraine. I have lived in Germany for 7 years.
What do you do in your spare time?
I am a sports fan. In my free time I do weight training, ride my bike a lot, and in the evenings I am usually busy with further education.
What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?
I liked Norway the most. I will soon be travelling to Georgia with my parents.
What was your dream job as a child?
Always wanted to work on the computer.
What is your favourite film / series?
Book > Film, My favourite book is "Programming Python" by Mark Lutz
How would you describe yourself in one sentence?
I am what I am. Whether that is perceived as nice, funny or annoying is for the other person to judge.
What are your three most important work utensils?
Glasses, laptop and the charger

My camera
What used to be your favourite subject at school?
Mathematics
What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
To go to the gym
