from | 19 May 2021 | #InsideAT

In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Talal Younis' turn. He starts with us as a Senior Software Engineer - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

What position will you take on at AT?

I will be working at AT as a Senior Software Engineer.

How did you become aware of AT?

My path to AT led via a recruitment agency

Why did you choose AT?

I felt very comfortable from the very first interview. Above all, the feeling that AT sees potential and promotes it encouraged me in my decision.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Here's to the projects with a strong team and new challenges that also let me grow.

What did you do before?

In recent years, I have increasingly worked in back-end development in the automotive sector.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Jordan. Amman is my hometown.

What do you do in your spare time?

I like to be outdoors with my family and friends. On holiday I like to go diving, especially in the Red Sea.

What was your dream job as a child?

I always wanted to be a pilot when I was a child. But then I got to know the IT world, which fascinated me very early on.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

At school, my strength was always in mathematics.

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

Involuntarily, I have been getting up regularly for a year now because our son Adam finds it fun to be nocturnal. But I like doing it! What do you always carry in your bag?
