In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Juliane Menge's turn. She is starting with us as Content & Social Media Manager - in the interview she tells us what drove her to it, what her background is and how she likes to spend her life outside of work.
What position will you take on at AT?
I start at AT as Content & Social Media Manager.
How did you become aware of AT?
I came across AT in the classic way via a LinkedIn job advertisement - the keyword AI caught my attention ?
Why did you choose AT?
Several factors were decisive for this, but above all the AT culture (which was praised in numerous employee evaluations) and the exciting field of activity of the company.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I'm looking forward to a lot of things, most of all getting to know my new colleagues, delving deeper into technical topics and (hopefully) learning a lot of new things.
What did you do before?
For the last 2.5 years I worked in a PR agency in Munich, with a strong focus on content management and B2B technologies. Before that, I studied International Economics in Regensburg.
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Starnberg, but I never lived there. I grew up in the Munich area. My family is originally from Thuringia (or North Rhine-Westphalia).
What do you do in your spare time?
I like being outdoors (e.g. hiking, preferably with friends), doing sports (including yoga and bouldering) and cooking.
What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?
By far, Japan, which fascinated me so much that it will be one of my next trips. Apart from that, I would like to travel to Korea and China or the Baltic States. But actually almost everywhere ?
What are your three most important work utensils?
On my desk there are actually always glasses, coffee and a notebook.
What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
My sleep is sacred to me, but I would get up in any case if my family or friends needed me.
