In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Asad Ali's turn. He is starting with us as a trainee data engineer - in this interview he tells us what drove him to join, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

How did you become aware of AT?

I became aware of AT through a friend.

Why did you choose AT?

I chose AT because of its vision and values.

What are you looking forward to the most?

I look forward to working on challenging and impactful projects.

What did you do before?

I studied Master in Computational Science and Engineering and worked in the automotive industry.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born and raised in Pakistan.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my free time I play tennis and go mountain biking.

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Physics

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

To see the stars. I like the night sky.
