In our #InsideAT series we regularly present new employees. Today it's Yannik Thamm's turn. He starts with us as a position - in the interview he tells us what drove him to it, what his background is and how he prefers to spend his life besides work.

What position will you take on at [at]?

I will take over the position of Trainee Data Strategist at [at] from 01.09.2022.

How did you find out about [at]?

I became aware of [at] through LinkedIn.

Why did you choose [at]?

The up-and-coming, young and data-oriented company convinced me from the first moment.

What are you looking forward to the most?

To participate in the growth of the company and to develop myself personally and professionally in the process.

What did you do before?

I completed my Bachelor's degree at Heilbronn University and worked in parallel as a working student in sports performance at Sky Deutschland.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born on 09.09.1995 in Filderstadt and spent my entire youth in Ingersheim, district of Ludwigsburg.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

One of my favourite destinations was definitely Valencia and I would like to travel to South America next.

What was your dream job as a child?

When I was a child, like probably most boys, I wanted to be a professional footballer.

What is your favourite film / series?

I don't really have a favourite film, but Shutter Island and Interstellar are definitely in the top 5.

What are your three most important work utensils?

Laptop, notepad and headphones.

What could you definitely not do without in your travel suitcase?

Swimming trunks

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Sport and economy

What would you get up for in the middle of the night?

A meeting with Cristiano Ronaldo, apart from his sporting performance, I admire his mindset above all.

What do you always carry in your pocket?

Chewing gums, to all future colleagues, feel free to ask me about it if you need one 😀
