#InsideAT - Our new working student Benjamin Mihé

In our #InsideAT series, we regularly introduce new employees. Today it's Benjamin Mihé's turn. He is starting with us as a working student - in this interview he tells us what drove him to join us, what his background is and how he likes to spend his life outside of work.

What position will you take on at AT?

I am a working student in the area of controlling.

How did you become aware of AT?

I first became aware of [at] in the traditional way through a job advertisement on
the online job portal Indeed. However, until recently, my older brother did an internship at
BMW, where he also once supported a project with [at]. He was then able to
also tell something about the cooperation and what [at] does approximately.

Why did you choose AT?

I chose [at] because, on the one hand, the "you" culture appealed to me very much.
and generally also the open and personal corporate culture. On the other hand
Computer science is a very interesting subject for me because it has a great influence on the
has a future. I'm also passionate about data myself. For example, I have a plan
for my free time, which activity I enjoy and how much and why, so that I can

What are you looking forward to the most?

I am particularly looking forward to applying the theoretical content from my studies.

What did you do before?

For the past 1.5 years, I have been studying business administration at the University for Applied Management in
Ismaning.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Gräfelfing and grew up in Munich.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my free time I am often making music (I play the saxophone and the drums), going to
always bouldering and hiking, often read and enjoy playing computer games with friends.

What has been your favourite travel destination so far and where would you definitely like to go?

My favourite destinations so far are both Namibia and Morocco. Still travelling
I would like Iceland, Greece and Hungary or Romania.

What was your dream job as a child?

For a long time, my only dream as a child was to become a professional train driver.

What was the last book you read?

The last book I read is by Ben Aaronovitch "A Whisper Under Baker
Street".

What used to be your favourite subject at school?

Languages in general, especially because my father is French and I am therefore bilingual.
I grew up in the country. At school I studied French, English and German.
Italian and speak all of them with great pleasure.
