#InsideAT - Our new working student Pascal Bundschuh

In our #InsideAT series, we regularly introduce new employees. Today it's Pascal Bundschuh's turn. He is starting with us as a working student - in this interview he tells us what drove him to join us, what his background is and how he prefers to spend his life outside of work.

What position will you take on at AT?

I am a working student in the field of data science.

How did you become aware of AT?

I became aware of AT through the company website.

Why did you choose AT?

In the course of my master's thesis, I implemented and trained several machine learning algorithms for the early detection of accounting fraud and applied them to the Wirecard case. To further expand my knowledge in the field of Data Science and to learn from first-class experts in different projects, I decided to join AT.

What are you looking forward to the most?

What I'm looking forward to most are insights into exciting data science projects in different industries and a steep learning curve.

What did you do before?

Before that, I gained experience in consulting, asset management, credit research and venture capital during several internships and student traineeships. I am also studying Computer Science and Finance at the TU Munich.

Where were you born and raised?

I was born in Friedrichshafen and grew up in beautiful Lindau on Lake Constance.

What do you do in your spare time?

I have been passionate about sailing since I was a child. In general, I'm up for any water sport. I also like to go to the mountains, skiing, biking or hiking.

What was your dream job as a child?

When I was a child, I always wanted to be an architect.

What are your three most important work utensils?

Noise cancelling headphones, laptop, cappuccino
