Data analytics

Data analysis refers to the process of examining data to extract useful information. There are different types of data analysis and they differ in their aim. Descriptive analytics tries to describe what happened. For example, we would use descriptive analytics to answer the question, "How many packages did "Your Model Car" send last month?" Predictive analytics tries to predict what will happen in the future, e.g. when a customer will receive a parcel.

It is therefore another type of data analysis in which usually Machine Learning Methods be used to create models that can make predictions. The types of data analysis typically also differ in their degree of complexity. Those analysis cases that use more elaborate methods are referred to as advanced analytics.
