(Junior) Data Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for you immediately at one of our German locations in Munich, Leipzig, Berlin!

Your tasks

Data and AI are your home? Furthermore, your new challenge will be as follows:

  • Design and development, testing and debugging as well as automation, documentation and optimisation of data pipelines on cloud platforms
  • Collaboration on the architecture, development and technology selection for the realisation of data analytics platforms and data analytics use cases
  • Regular consultation and communication with our customers
  • Development of data & analytics use cases along the business processes of our customers, incl. requirements engineering and use case conception
  • Data exploration and data visualisation, e.g. with Power BI and/or Tableau

Your profile

Data is also in your DNA? That's what you should bring with you:

  • Successful university degree (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • First professional experience as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Data Engineer or in a similar professional field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills at German and English
  • Very good programming skills in Python and/ or SQL
  • Practical experience with Cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS) and with relational databases (e.g. MySQL and/or PostgreSQL)
  • Experience in the development of Data Warehouse or Data Lakehouse Solutions for storing and organising structured and unstructured data and making it accessible for analyses, for example by using the Spark framework
  • Knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and Docker or Kubernetes is desirable
  • Nice to have: Experience in dealing with Large Language Models
  • Willingness to travel in the context of a consulting activity
