We are looking for you at one of our German locations in Munich, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Berlin, Cologne or Frankfurt am Main!

Your tasks

Data and AI Platforms are your home? Your new challenge will be as follows:

  • Conceptual design and development of big data / analytics platforms
  • Development, execution and scaling of data pipelines on various cloud architectures
  • Implementation of DevOps processes using various CI/CD tools
  • Development of data platforms with various IaC tools
  • Working with Python or Scala, SQL and common scripting languages
  • Design and implementation of data models
  • Assessing data quality and performing transformations for data cleansing
  • Building data engineering expertise within the team and the community
  • MLOps: Operationalisation of models and results from data scientists in order to make them available for productive use or to automate them

Your profile

Data is also in your DNA? That's what you should bring with you:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
  • At least 6 years Experience in the implementation of Data platforms and Data management processes and first Design experience
  • At least 4 years Practical application of common programme languages such as Python, Scala, SQL
  • As well as at least 4 years Realisation experience in the area Big data platforms in particular Spark, Kafka and distributed storage systems using various Cloud services like AWS or Azure
  • At least 3 years of experience in dealing with a wide variety of Cloud components (object storage, databases, message services, ETL engines, security, scheduling, operations, etc.) in the area of AWS or Azure
  • Experience in dealing with IaC Tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK or similar as well as with common CI/CD processes and tools
  • Experience with UNIX systems and network configuration
  • Experience in agile process models
  • Nice to have: Initial experience in the technical and/or disciplinary management of employees is an advantage
