Your tasks

Data and AI are your home? Furthermore, your new challenge will be as follows:

  • Conceptual design and development of Big Data / Analytics platforms in complex customer projects
  • Migration from historically grown on-premise solutions into the cloud software
  • Re-Design / Optimisation of selected components of a Big Data / Analytics platform
  • Assessment and Selection of suitable technologies for the implementation of data analytics use cases (incl. proof of concepts)
  • Support from Offer and tender processes (e.g. architectural sketches, conceptual work samples, proposal presentation, project planning)
  • Topic development and promotion of internal and continuous expansion of know-how on data architecture
  • Development, execution and scaling of data pipelines to Cluster architectures
  • Design and implementation of Data models
  • Supporting the Data Science team in the development of statistical models

Your profile

Data is also in your DNA? That's what you should bring with you:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, computer science or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years Experience in the design and implementation of data platforms and data management processes
  • Practical experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks as well as advanced SQL-know-how
  • At least 2 years Experience in the practical application of common programming languages such as Python, Scala or Java
  • Implementation experience using the Hadoop Ecosystems such as Hive, HBase, Kafka or Spark
  • Experience in the design, implementation and administration of Cloud solutions of the market-leading providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience in the integration of company-specific security solutions (e.g. connection to Active Directory, Kerberos, Key Management, Apache Ranger / Knox)
  • Experience with common architecture management frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Overview of the current technologies and emerging trends for Big Data / Analytics, especially in Open Source Projects
  • Fun teamwork in agile teams
  • Pronounced conceptual skills paired with Hands-on mentality
  • Ability concepts Target group specific to prepare and present
  • Curiosity and passion to continuously learn - about technologies, processes and people
  • Willingness to travel in the context of a consulting activity
  • Fluency including fluency in German and English skills
