Senior MLOps Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for you at one of our locations in Munich, Leipzig, Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt am Main or Stuttgart!

As an MLOps Engineer, you will be an integral part of our consulting team and work closely with clients to implement, operate and optimise ML platforms. With your expertise, you will ensure the successful deployment and management of machine learning models by utilising the latest advances in automation, monitoring and scalability.

Your tasks

  • You understand and summarise the MLOps requirements of our customers
  • As an MLOps Engineer, you can design and present solutions that fulfil the requirements, including architectures and best practices
  • You can easily implement the provision, maintenance and expansion of functionality as well as the maintenance of data science use cases/ML models
  • Ideally, you have experience in building a presence in the MLOps community through meetups, conferences and hackathons

Your profile

  • At least four years of professional experience as a DevOps or data engineer who has built and maintained critical infrastructure/data solutions in production
  • Proven ability to technically lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with diverse backgrounds
  • Track record of mentoring and developing engineers, improving the skills and practices of entire teams
  • Experience with container orchestration, e.g. Kubernetesand the corresponding tools, e.g. helmet
  • Experience with cloud stacks, e.g. AWS or Azureand Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CDmonitoring and alerting, incident management
  • Experience with workflow management tools, e.g. Airflow
  • Experience in dealing with common concepts and tools in the MLOps landscape (applications such as Kubeflow, MLFlow) or the willingness to learn them
  • Knowledge of the machine learning life cycle, from exploratory data analysis and model training to model operation
  • Very good Python- and/or knowledge of Go
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German
