(Senior) Principal Data Strategist (m/f/d) - Focus Regulatory

We are looking for you at one of our German locations in Berlin, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Munich, Cologne or Frankfurt on the Main!

As Principal Data Strategist Regulatory (m/f/d), your main responsibility is to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks for data and artificial intelligence in the financial sector. You will be the interface to bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and technical implementation and work closely with cross-functional teams. In our MLOps-focused team, we are responsible for the following:

Your tasks

Data and AI are your home? Furthermore, your new challenge will be as follows:

  • Maintain an update on regulatory developments in the area of data and AI in the financial sector. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to interpret and implement regulatory changes for data and AI initiatives to increase customer confidence. 
  • Assess and guide technical teams in the development and deployment of data and AI algorithms and models to showcase our expertise to clients. 
  • Translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications to ensure seamless integration and address customer-specific needs. 
  • Perform risk assessments and take corrective action to maintain and strengthen customer relationships. 
  • Build positive relationships with external stakeholders to promote data and AI compliance initiatives and demonstrate our commitment to excellence.

Your profile

Data is also in your DNA? That's what you should bring with you:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, law, computer science or a related field. 
  • At least 3 years Experience in regulatory affairs with a focus on data and AI in the financial sector. 
  • Extensive knowledge of data and AI regulation and best practices in the financial sector
  • Proven experience working with technology and data science teams on data and AI initiatives. 
  • Strong analytical skills to assess technical aspects of data and AI systems and to translate regulatory requirements in line with customer objectives. 
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skillsto communicate complex regulatory and technical concepts to customers in an understandable way. 
  • Capability, regulatory compliance initiatives in a dynamic environment and strengthen customer relationships at the same time. 
  • Familiarity with data and AI technologies and their operationalisation, which contribute to customer meetings and proposals. 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German German. 
  • You set realistic deadlines and stick to them; you are extremely organised and know how to set priorities.
