Senior Data Visualization Engineer (m/f/d) - Croatia

We are looking for you at our location in Zagreb!

Your mission

Data and Al are your home? Furthermore, your new challenge is as follows:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain BI applications and dashboards
  • Implement reporting and analytics solutions using Amazon QuickSight, Qlik Sense, or comparable BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Translate business requirements into technical data models and BI solutions
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and derive actionable insights
  • Prepare, cleanse, and transform data using SQL or Python
  • Build analytical datasets and ensure high data quality through validation processes
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing BI solutions
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to business stakeholders through visualizations and structured explanations

Your profile

Data is also in your DNA? You should bring that with you:

  • Completed studies in a quantitative or analytically oriented field (e.g., Business Informatics, Data Science, Natural Sciences, Engineering)  
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in BI development
  • Ideally, initial professional experience as a Data Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role  
  • Strong interest in data-driven decision support and professional analysis  
  • First practical experience with BI tools, ideally Amazon QuickSight or Palantir  
  • Experience with Workshop and Contour  
  • Good experience with SQL  
  • Practical experience with Terraform  
  • Knowledge of agile project methods and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)  
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions  
  • Regular meetings are conducted in English. Croatian language are required
  • Office: 2 days per week
Nice to have:
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry
  • Knowledge of Amazon or similar serverless query services
  • Experience migrating dashboards and reports between different BI platforms
  • Familiarity with agile project methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
