As CEO of Germany's first data science consultancy, Alexander Thamm can already look back on an exciting career in which he has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to develop viable data solutions in a short time and to transfer them into productive mode. As an entrepreneur, data science expert, author and sought-after keynote speaker, he also has a personal mission - to develop training programmes for data experts and together bridge the digital divide.
Elena Danchyshyna
Expert Data Visualization
Elena is an expert in visualisation. She has been working for Alexander Thamm GmbH since 2013 and develops applications and visualisation concepts and provides cross-team support in their implementation and evaluation. In addition to her focus on visualisation, she also has a lot of experience in the areas of data management and modelling, server management and application management. Elena studied business administration at the LMU Munich.
Dr Christina Sievers
Tribe Lead
Expert in predictive analytics in the field of marketing. Has been with Alexander Thamm GmbH since 2015 and, as Managing Data Scientist, develops innovative forecasting algorithms for a wide range of industries in collaboration with her team of 15 people.
The focus here is on the development of prototypes and the optimisation of the forecasting models.
Wolfgang Reuter
Leading Data Scientist
Expert for Deep Learning, focus on Computer Vision. Has been working for Alexander Thamm GmbH for 3 years and has mainly worked there with innovative solution approaches and model architectures. Experienced project manager and accomplished trainer who responds individually to the participants.
Nico Becker
Principal Data Scientist
Nico Becker is a Data Scientist with a software engineering background. He has a Master's degree in Business Informatics and has been with Alexander Thamm GmbH since 2018.
A versatile data scientist, with strong software engineering skills, he specialises in Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing. He has several years of experience in software development on various platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud.
About the Data Academy
Continuous Learning is in our DNA. We recognised the need for well-trained employees and designed our own trainee programme at a time when there was no such thing as a "trainee programme" or a degree in the field of Big Data and AI. We have applied this concept throughout the company and continually adapted it - today we have training and special development paths for each department. In addition, professionally focused guilds have been formed to teach each other the latest technology.
