Content of the Case Study
The Thermomix from Vorwerk is one of the most successful kitchen appliances ever. With the introduction of the TM5 model, the Internet of Things (IoT) found its way into the kitchen at home. After the users have given their consent, the appliance analyses their usage behaviour. The aim is to massively improve the customer experience through these analyses. With the latest Thermomix models, Vorwerk goes one step further. Based on the cooking behaviour, individual recipes are suggested to the user. The Munich-based data science and AI consultancy Alexander Thamm GmbH supported the concept and technical implementation.
