Telephone interview
The first step towards a new job is a 30-minute telephone interview with HR. In this interview, you get your first personal impression of [at] and we want to find out whether we are a good match.

The next step is a professional telephone interview. In this interview, the technical details of your future job will be discussed and it will be checked whether your profile and interests match the position.

In the following week, we give feedback on the interview and agree on how to proceed. If it's a good fit on both sides, you'll receive a job offer from us and then we'll say welcome to the team!
Our locations
Our DataHub and the heart of [at] is located in Munich directly at the Olympiapark and impresses with a grandiose roof terrace and probably the most beautiful view over Munich. In addition to the training courses for our Data Academy We also regularly hold events such as our Data & AI Summer Conference.
We opened our second location in Berlin in 2017. Since then, we have already moved several times and are currently in the Government district to find. Our Frankfurt office is located near Rothschildpark. Since our takeover of aiso-lab, we also have an office in Cologne - in the heart of the city, right next to Heumarkt. Our Stuttgart office is conveniently located in Leinenfeld-Echterdingen. Our founder Alexander Thamm has a very special connection to our office in Leipzig - after all, his family comes from there and he spent the first years of his life in Leipzig.

Are you looking for the ideal career entry in the field of Data & AI after your studies or as a career changer? Then our Data Science / Data Engineering trainee programme is just right for you!
Following the principle of "learning by doing", you will be assigned to various project teams as a permanent team member and thus gain a comprehensive insight into the work of a data consultant over the course of 12 months.
Since the individual development of our employees is also important to us, up to 20 % of your working time will be reserved for your individual further training as a trainee.

How can I apply?

Yes, we are also happy to receive a speculative application. Please indicate your desired field of work, your availability and your salary expectations.
Are the job advertisements always up to date?
On our career website you will find all positions that are currently vacant. There are no application deadlines at Alexander Thamm - as long as the position is advertised, it is not yet filled.

Can I write my thesis with Alexander Thamm?
In principle, there is the possibility of writing a thesis (Bachelor's or Master's thesis) together with Alexander Thamm. If you are interested, we look forward to receiving your speculative application, ideally with a rough proposal for a topic.
